When people talk about mental health, they often have a negative connotation. They usually reference the kind of mental health that is associated with severe mental disorders, fear-the-mad-and-dark-side stuff. As a result, many people do not understand the true meaning and importance of mental health, and therefore, do not prioritize their own mental well-being. We, here at Chemical Loche, believe that this mindset needs to change in order for everyone to feel better about themselves as well as others around them. And with the COVID-19 pandemic resulting in an increase in levels of stress, anxiety and depression, the clock is ticking, and it is more important than ever to make our mental health a priority.
